A brief history of Aware Copywriting

I started out my copywriting career as a freelance writer in New Orleans in 2013. During my first two years, I did a lot of networking with web developers, designers, and marketers in “Silicon Bayou” digital agencies. It didn’t take long for me to pick up on a common problem. Smaller agencies didn’t have the resources to maintain a copywriting staff in house, and they couldn’t rely on the availability of high-quality freelance writers when the need arose. When copywriting was left to clients, unoriginal copy undermined the agencies’ painstakingly designed online spaces.

I established Aware Copywriting to provide cost-efficient, consistent copywriting to agencies. My goal was to facilitate speedy web launches while simultaneously building the reputations of my agency partners and their clients. Today, I collaborate with digital agencies, businesses, and entrepreneurs from across North America and in Europe to create powerful content marketing for online and print platforms.

Through independent research and a few question and answer emails, Autumn quickly proved to be a fast learner and in many cases actually taught us some things through her informative posts and blogs.

Outsourcing content development to Aware was like having our own copywriting staff, but at a much more reasonable rate.

Throwback to that time Aware Copywriting was featured in USA Today as a small business success story.

“One person alone is not going to be a success. You have to have people who are supporting you,” said Ware. “When you bring people in to work with you, make sure those people have the same passions.”
